Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 For Windows 7
The Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 For Windows 7 design appeals to more than your eyes. It encourages you to use a more natural posture that aligns your arms, wrists, and hands for greater comfort. With a wireless connection, you can eliminate clutter and work from anywhere in the room-up to 30 feet away. Customize Taskbar Favorites on the keyboard and the buttons on the mouse for quick access to the programs, files, media, and webpages that you use most often. Plus, enjoy precision of the full-featured mouse, relying on Microsoft BlueTrack Technology for accurate cursor control on virtually any surface.Microsoft makes a strong showing in the wireless keyboard and mouse market with the Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 For Windows 7. This set was designed with the user in mind, specifically where ergonomics are concerned. Although it lacks some desirable features such as a battery level indicator and power switches, it does have many user-friendly attributes like a cushioned palm rest, a snap-on receiver and a three-year warranty.
Updates to the Comfort Curve design include a soft-touch palm rest and low-profile quiet touch keys. As for Windows 7, users can take advantage of a time-saving feature called Taskbar Favorites that allows easy access to open programs by mapping their location to a series of hotkeys and instantly adapting to changes. It also includes Device Stage support—giving users quick access to peripheral devices and a dedicated Windows Flip button for thumbnail previews on both the mouse and keyboard.
Setting up this combo is as easy as turning on your computer and plugging in the included USB device. The Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 instantly sync to your computer for plug-and-play access via 2.4 GHz wireless technology, which promises a reliable connection within a 30-foot range with no interference or delays. And when you’re ready to take your work on the road, simply pack up the Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 after retrieving the USB device and snapping it into the back of the mouse so it doesn’t get lost en route.
Microsoft brings convenience to your workstation with enhanced F keys that provide shortcuts for quickly completing common commands and functions. Additionally, several one-touch access buttons are located along the top edge of the keyboard. These keys give you instant access to your email, internet browser, digital images and media applications. Some of them can even be programmed to access your favorite files or oft-used applications. The mouse has a few tricks up its sleeve as well; Microsoft’s BlueTrack Technology blows optical and laser mice out of the water by combining the expertise of both into a mouse that tracks more precisely on more surfaces. Like most mice, however, it won’t work on clear glass or mirrored surfaces. Another downside is that neither the wireless keyboard nor the mouse has a battery level indicator.
The Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 For Windows 7 is the perfect companion for Windows 7 because it gives people smart ways to make everyday computing tasks easier. A new time-saving feature called Taskbar Favorites gives Microsoft keyboard users an easy way to access their open programs. Instead of the traditional My Favorites Keys with stored locations, Taskbar Favorites will map to the location of open applications on the improved Windows taskbar. The icons in the taskbar can be easily rearranged just by clicking and dragging; Taskbar Favorites will instantly adapt to the new icon locations.
Other Windows 7 integration features include these:
Device Stage. Microsoft Hardware mouse and keyboard products will support Device Stage, a Windows 7 feature that gives customers quick and easy access to common tasks, including product information, registration, settings and more for popular device categories such as cell phones, cameras, printers, portable media players and input devices.
Windows Flip. Microsoft mouse and keyboard users can easily see a thumbnail preview of all open windows with the press of a button. A full-screen preview of the application will automatically display, enabling the user to better identify and select the desired application.
Ergonomist-Approved Comfort Curve Design – The Comfort Curve design from Microsoft encourages natural wrist posture and is easy to use.
BlueTrack Technology – Take advantage of BlueTrack Technology, which combines the power of optical with the precision of laser for remarkable tracking on virtually any surface.
Taskbar Favorites for Windows 7 – Easily access programs in the Windows Taskbar with convenient keyboard shortcut keys. Rearrange icons in the Windows Taskbar by clicking and dragging, and the keys will automatically adapt to the new locations.
2.4-GHz Reliable Wireless – Enjoy the 2.4-gigahertz (GHz) wireless technology, which delivers a reliable connection with up to a 30-foot range, with virtually no interference.

Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 – Wireless Keyboard And Mouse
Reduce strain and make time with your computer more enjoyable by using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 – Wireless Keyboard And Mouse, a combination of the most advanced ergonomic designs for a keyboard and mouse. By resting your arms, wrists, and hands in a more natural position, you reduce pressure on sensitive areas, such as your carpal tunnel, and the potential for injuries resulting from unhealthy posture. It is Microsoft’s most ergonomically minded wireless keyboard and mouse combo. After steadily using for more than two weeks, the set proved to be mostly comfortable with some nice bells and whistles attached; however, both the keys and the scroll wheel had a heaviness that wasn’t very conducive to comfort. In addition, you can take advantage of technology advancements with this keyboard and mouse set and work from up to 30 feet away from your computer with wireless technology. For close-in tasks, use the zoom slider located in the middle of the keyboard to easily zoom in and out by touching your finger on it. Breeze through documents, media files, and webpages easily by using the four-way tilt-scroll wheel on the mouse, aided by the precision and accuracy of industry-leading, high-definition laser technology.
As its name suggests, the ergonomic design of this Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 is really one of its biggest selling points. The keyboard itself is fairly large, but that is due to the wrist pad and key layout that is meant to be more comfortable and natural for typing. While it lacks the fancy LCD screen of the MX5500, this keyboard includes a number of media keys to make computer use easier. Despite Microsoft making this combo, both devices work with a PC or Mac. The mouse in this set includes thumb-controlled magnifier buttons and a four-way scroll wheel between the two main buttons. It has an ergonomic design that can be quite nice if you use your computer for hours on end. While it is a bit less expensive than the MX5500, it is still not a cheap set. The ergonomic layout of the keys can also take some getting used to, even if they are more comfortable in the long run once you are accustomed to them.
The design of the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 – Wireless Keyboard And Mouse is essentially the same as the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, though the former connects to your computer wirelessly via a USB receiver. The split design rises in the middle to keep your wrists and arms in a naturally rotated position. An optional riser snaps under the front of the keyboard to create a backward slant that prevents you from flexing your wrists. You can further adjust the keyboard’s height and angle via snap-up feet on the rear corners. The keyboard’s wrist rest is padded with a faux-leather cover that’s preferable to bare plastic but nevertheless not as comfortable as the gel wrist rests you can get elsewhere. The elevated mouse looks more like a piece of fruit than a computer accessory and its buttons, wheel and palm rest all veer towards the right side. The idea behind the design is that it turns your wrist upward — almost, though not quite, like a handshake — and lets you rest your hand on the right side instead of putting pressure on the carpal tunnel area. The thumb rest and sides of the mouse are made of a rubberised material that lets users avoid the mouse death grip that so often accompanies extended computer work.
High Definition Laser Technology gives the Mouse more precision, more responsiveness, and smoother tracking.
Mouse & Keyboard 2.4 GHz Wireless Technology connects wirelessly right out of the box with virtually no interference
Advanced Ergonomic Design promotes a more natural hand, wrist, and forearm position for greater comfort.
System Requirements – Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional, Home, Media Center Edition
Mouse fits your hand as naturally as a handshake

Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad
The Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad is a keyboard-and-stand combo designed to travel easily, set up quickly and add a touch of convenience to all the places you use your iPad.When you’re on the go, the carrying case helps protect your keyboard. And once you arrive, it converts into a sturdy stand for your iPad that’s adjustable to just the right angle. The keyboard pairs easily with iPad and iPad 2 (and even iPhone or iPod touch) over Bluetooth wireless. So you can use it on your desk, lap or anywhere within 10 metres (30 feet) of your iOS device.
As a keyboard it works really well for actual typing. It is the same size as my iMac wireless keyboard, and almost as responsive when typing. What differs between the desktop keyboard, and the Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad are the function keys. The iPad/iPhone Home button can be found in the top left corner. It works like it should, and brings you to the home screen or to the spotlight screen.
The function key is versitaile, and can bring up the photo roll, remove the virtual keyboard, play music, and set volume. Paired with backspace it closes the iPad, and the same combination opens it smoothly. All these functions are easy to spot, as they are lined out in blue to the right above the ordinary number.
Setting up the Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad is really simple with a requirement to enter four digits when you pair up with the iPad. Quick and hassle free. The four AAA batteries last for ages, but of course a rechargeable solution would have been preferred. There is an on/off Bluetooth switch top right, and next to it we have two green indicators for the Bluetooth radio and the battery charge. At the bottom we have a recessed connectivity key, and the lid for the battery compartment that takes two AAAs.
The case halves snap together via their magnetic sides, not clips or other contraptions, so you can easily open it slightly and form a stand on which to lean the iPad. The tablet gets secured from sliding forward when leaning back on the stand by a folding sleigh that snaps at the bottom of the case. The plastic of the sleigh feels a bit flimsy when trying to latch it to the dedicated slit in the case, but you get used to it, and, once mastered, it makes the whole stand form a stable triangle, on which you can lean the iPad vertically or horizontally.
So far I’ve tried the Zagg Mini 9 keyboard and Wingstand, and found both wanting. The Zagg felt rushed to market and restrictive, since when I’m not writing I prefer to use my iPad (mini or otherwise) bare. While the Wingstand is a good, compact stand for the iPad, I found Apple’s keyboard, designed for OS X but not iOS, to be the setup’s ironic downfall. My latest attempt is the Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad , and it’s an altogether different approach. Instead of a restrictive iPad case like the Zagg, the Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad is really just a full-size bluetooth keyboard wrapped in a solid case that doubles as a stand for the iPad. The keyboard itself is full size, which certainly doesn’t hurt, and when you set the keyboard case up, a plastic piece flips out to support any size iPad in portrait or landscape.
Compact, low-profile keyboard: For easy, comfortable typing wherever you use your iPad
Carrying case-and-stand combo: Protects the keyboard when you’re on the go and converts into a sturdy stand for your iPad
Wireless freedom: Keyboard pairs easily with your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch over Bluetooth wireless.
Convenient media control keys: Instantly control your music and videos with play, pause and volume keys at your fingertips
Versatile adjustable stand: Use your iPad in the landscape or portrait position and at just the right viewing angle
30 ft range. Actual wireless range will vary with use, settings and environmental conditions.
The Logitech Mini Tablet Keyboard For iPad is a lightweight accessory designed to be both a keyboard and a stand, making it ideal for travel.
Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B
For use with your Mac as well as your iPod, the sleek, completely cable-free aluminum Apple Wireless Keyboard technology, so you’re free to move the keyboard just about anywhere within range and wirelessly type away. Use the Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B on your desk, on your lap, or anywhere within 30 feet of your Mac or iPad.Its compact design takes up 24 percent less space on your desktop than full-size keyboards, so you have extra room to move the keyboard around and mouse comfortably alongside of it. You’ll also feel a difference when you type on its low-profile anodized aluminum enclosure with crisp, responsive keys. Use the function keys for one-touch access to a variety of Mac features such as screen brightness, volume, eject, play or pause, Exposé, and Dashboard. The Apple Wireless Keyboard requires just two AA batteries, and its intelligent power management system conserves battery life. So when you’re not using the keyboard, it automatically powers down. The instant you start typing, it turns back on. Use the on or off switch when you’re away from your computer for a long time.
Beautiful design like all of the apple products. It matches well with the iPad 2 or any other Mac product. It is slim, but not overly slim. Because it is made out of aluminum it has a very solid feel.I prefer having a separate keyboard from my iPad 2 because I have the option of leaving it at home and not lugging it around with me everywhere I go.Using this Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B, the iPad knows that I don’t need the keypad on the screen which gives me full access to the webpage, email document, etc whereas before half of the screen was taken up by the on screen keypad.
It has a slight angle to it so it makes it more comfortable for me to use vs the flat keyboards where it is built into the iPad case. On the bottom of the Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B, there is a rubberized feel to the battery compartment. This prevents the keyboard from sliding around on your desk if you have a slick or smooth surface.Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B looks very similar to the wired model, but is more compact and portable. According to Apple this smaller size takes up 24% less than a traditional full size keyboard. It is made of the same aluminum that Apple has grown famous for using in all of their latest products and it gives off a quality feel that I would expect to last a long time. The keys are a low profile design with a matte white finish that looks great, but does get dirty easily.
It was super easy to set up. Apple supplies your first batch of 2 double A batteries(the new version needs only two vs the older version needed 3). and you power on the keyboard, turn on your Bluetooth through settings and then pair the device. It will prompt you to type a 4 digit code into your keyboard and then hit return and then it instantly works.
In the matter of function, the Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B performs very well and works exactly as you’d expect it. Each keystroke on the Apple wireless keyboard is precise and pleasing, only requiring a short travel distance thanks to the low profile keys. The keyboard works excellent with a Mac computer as it has all the necessary shortcuts (located on the function keys) to make our lives easier and more productive. When used with an iPad or iOS device, the keyboard works flawlessly and is an excellent way to make your typing experience more pleasant.
I found Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard MC184LL/B to be a decent buy if you’re in the market for a compact wireless keyboard for your Mac or iOS device. In my case, I found the smaller size to be a bit uncomfortable and the wireless to bring potential issues as I’d need to worry about replacing batteries and lost connections. If these aspects won’t bother you and you’re fine with the lack of a number-pad then this keyboard is an solid choice. Personally, I’m going to stick with the wired model as I’d choose the additional space and USB requirement in exchange for added comfort, use of the number-pad, and lack of batteries.

Logitech PS/2 Wired Slim Classic Keyboard K100
The Logitech PS/2 Wired Slim Classic Keyboard K100 I recieved is a very square keyboard(unlike the pictured product) but has a nice layout and more compact design than my old one.I was shocked when I realized this keyboard was a PS2 connection-maybe my fault but I thought this was a newer product!
