Engadget.com announced D-Link’s Boxee Box remote in the early of this July. The Boxee Remote Control by D-Link, giving Boxee users on PC and Mac the innovative remote previously only found with the Boxee Box by D-Link. The Boxee Remote Control features a sleek, two-sided design with a full QWERTY keypad that works seamlessly with Boxee software – the most intuitive way for Mac and PC users to bring TV shows, movies, music, and photos from the Internet to their TV.
Featuring double-sided controls with a built-in QWERTY keyboard and simple browsing interface, the Boxee Remote Control enables easy access to the search and social capabilities of the Boxee software on PC or Mac. Allowing users to enjoy and share their favorite video-on-demand service through their social networks, the Boxee Remote Control lets anyone quickly and easily input URLs and account information for their favorite websites. In addition, unlike infrared TV remotes, the Boxee Remote Control uses RF signals via an included nano-sized USB adapter so consumers never have to worry about pointing the remote at the computer.
Two weeks later, Pandawill unveils their remote control Rii Mote i6 which is a wonderful combo, combined 2.4GHz Wireless mini QWERTY keyboard,Touch Pad combo,with USB interface receiver. With Rii Mote i6, users can control their PC TV DVD Air conditioning at a time.
Rii Mote i6 consists not only of normal wireless keyboard keys,but also of multimedia control keys and PC gaming control keys.It has built-in programmable smart touch pad-the world’s first touchpad which can be used in horizontal and vertical directions.It has power indicator, RF signal indicator, CAPSLOCK light, low-voltage indicator and keypad backlight to facilitate the use in dark environments.
